Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair process refrigeration and HVAC systems in our cGMP medical device manufacturing plant. You will handle lyophilizers, fume hoods, air handlers, and related equipment, ensuring compliance and safety.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience with process refrigeration and HVAC, a Refrigerant CV 1&2 license, and CMMS familiarity.

Qualifications

Certificate from a Vocational, Trade School or military training.
5+ years’ experience in a maintenance position with responsibility for maintenance and operation of process refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Must possess a Refrigerant CV 1&2 license
PLC (Programmable Logic Computer) experience preferred
Computer Literate
Valid New Jersey Driver’s License; use of personal vehicle may be required
Experience with CMMS software.
Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment including HVAC, lyophilizers, chillers and related plant equipment.
Ensure compliance with Catastrophic Ozone Depletion regulations and refrigerant inventory control.
Operate and maintain Water for Injection and Pure Steam Generator systems.
Operate and maintain compressed air systems (plant and clean).
Maintain up-to-date preventative maintenance records.
Provide technical instruction and coaching to technicians and contractors as required.
