Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Sr. Refrigeration Systems Engineer to drive New Product Development for HVAC cooling and heat pump equipment.

The role is based onsite in Syracuse, NY, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and travel up to 10% domestically and to Mexico. The successful candidate will develop qualification plans, ensure compliance with agency standards (ETL/UL), maintain engineering documentation, and lead mid-to-high complexity programs with little supervision while

Qualifications

• Bachelors with 5+ years in engineering product design and development.
• Alternatively, a Masters with 3+ years in engineering design and manufacture.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and to Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC cooling and heat pump equipment development.
• Develop qualification plans for systems and components.
• Ensure product requirement compliance and agency certification.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering specifications.
• Lead and execute mid-to-high-complexity programs with minimal supervision.
• Provide daily direction to Designers & Technicians.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
