Qualifications

• High School or equivalent and completion of a trade apprenticeship program Required.
• 4-6 years experience in HVAC and refrigeration Required.
• OHS Annual Assessment Required.
• OHS Fit Test Required.
• Must possess a valid NYC Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Refrigeration Required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair all HVAC and refrigeration equipment in the facility.
• Install or replace thermometers, pumps, air ducts and air conditioning units.
• Operate refrigerating machinery to determine proper functioning.
• Provide services in emergency situations.
