A leading HVAC service provider in New York is seeking highly skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians for their fast-paced service department. Candidates will maintain and repair HVAC/Refrigeration systems, assess customer needs, and prepare daily reports. Qualifications
A valid clean driver's license and meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
FDNY Torch Certification.
OSHA 30 hour and 10 hour SST Certification.
Proficient with Smart Phone Usage; knowledge of IVR usage and Retail procedures is a plus.
Flexible to work stand by rotation and overtime as needed.
VRF and VRV experience is a plus but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
Maintain service and repair HVAC/Refrigeration equipment in commercial and industrial establishments.
Assess equipment and service needs of customers.
Identify revenue generating opportunities and make recommendations.
Service and repair HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
Prepare accurate daily reporting on work orders and quotes.
Communicate with Dispatcher and Service department personnel.
Utilize safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Exhibit courteous behavior towards customers and third parties.
