bp is seeking a Senior Finance Advisor, Refining to partner with key stakeholders and shape strategy. This high-impact leadership role blends financial insight, operating performance, and digital capability to support faster, better decisions.

The position acts as Deputy to the Refinery Senior Finance Manager and drives end-to-end value optimization across strategy, operations, and performance. Hybrid work with bp benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in planning, analyzing or managing performance to support business goals.
Strong understanding of commercial and economic factors; developing business cases and evaluating investments.
Experience managing senior partners and delivering value in matrix environments.
Broad understanding of how processes connect to enable decision-making.
Experience in capital-intensive or operational businesses (refinery experience preferred).

Responsibilities

Support the business to drive margin, cost, and capital efficiency improvements.
Lead a structured Vulnerabilities and Opportunities process for the annual plan.
Ensure decisions reflect end-to-end value optimization across functions.
Act as trusted partner, owning relationships with key budget holders.
Serve as integration point between the business and FP&A team.
Act as Deputy to the Refinery Senior Finance Manager.
Represent Finance at Cost / Capex / GM steercos.
Enable insight-driven discussions for integrated value for bp.
