TransUnion is seeking an experienced Red Teamer to join the Information Security Department. The role focuses on threat emulation, red/purple team operations, and penetration testing to assess security across systems, networks, and cloud environments.

This is a remote position with occasional in-person events as needed. Applicants should have 5+ years in red team/penetration testing, strong phishing and social engineering skills, and the ability to produce clear, actionable reports.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in conducting penetration tests and red team operations.
• Ability to compromise a modern organization, elevate privileges, and move laterally through complex networks.
• Strong experience with phishing techniques, social engineering, and initial access methods.
• Experience writing comprehensive, well-structured reports detailing risks and recommendations.
• Basic development experience (Python/Bash/Git) to create custom solutions.

• Conduct threat emulation exercises, simulating cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities.
• Lead purple team exercises to challenge the organization’s security posture.
• Perform lateral movement assessments and evaluate network segmentation and access controls.
• Demonstrate expertise in local privilege escalation techniques.
• Develop and use custom scripts and frameworks to enhance red team operations.
• Conduct reconnaissance to identify targets and attack vectors.
• Test security of cloud environments and data protection configurations.
• Document findings and communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
