Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Red Team Operator - VP to lead offensive security engagements across cyber, physical, human, and process domains. You will develop custom tooling, emulate sophisticated threat actors, and drive adversary emulation programs with strong collaboration across IT, security operations, and risk teams.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on red team experience, a track record of automation, and certifications such as OSCP/OSEP/CRTO or CREST.

Qualifications

• Experience in offensive security testing and adversary emulation.
• Proven ability to develop tooling and automation for complex red-team engagements.
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO/CRTP or CREST are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver offensive security engagements and threat models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve methodologies and testing approaches.
• Create clear reports detailing findings, risk impact, and remediation guidance.
• Align security testing with business processes and existing controls.
• Identify emerging vulnerabilities and attack trends to inform tooling.
• Design and maintain offensive security tooling and tradecraft.
• Support incident response with technical analysis and advisory input.
