Job summary

Jobtailor in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced security professional to lead penetration testing and red teaming across enterprise networks, cloud environments, satellite communications, and RF-enabled systems.

You will emulate adversaries, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable remediation while communicating complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires hands-on offensive security expertise and knowledge of missile defense concepts.

Qualifications

• 2-8+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, offensive security, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, AD attacks, networking, and cloud environments.
• Experience with offensive security tools such as Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Sliver, BloodHound, Impacket, Mythic.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, or C#.
• Experience in missile defense systems or related knowledge is required.
• Understanding of satellite elements, RF spectrum, electronic warfare, and mission purposes.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct red team engagements against enterprise networks, cloud environments, satellite systems, and RF-enabled infrastructures.
• Execute adversary emulation aligned to real-world TTPs.
• Perform internal and external penetration testing across multiple environments.
• Simulate cyber and RF-enabled attack vectors against mission systems and communications architectures.
• Identify security weaknesses, exploit vulnerabilities, and demonstrate impacts.
• Conduct social engineering, phishing, and physical security assessments where authorized.
• Assist assessments involving RF communications, satellite systems, and electronic warfare.
• Develop, modify, and maintain offensive security tools and automation.
• Document findings, attack paths, indicators of compromise, and remediation strategies.
