Job summary

SIXGEN is seeking a Senior Red & Purple Team Operator to independently plan, execute, and document advanced offensive cybersecurity assessments. You will lead Red Team engagements, perform adversary emulation, and validate detections with SOC and Threat Hunting teams.

The role requires 7+ years in offensive security, strong reporting skills, and experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments, all in a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of offensive cybersecurity experience including penetration testing, Red Team operations, or similar.
• Ability to independently plan and execute engagements from scoping through reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end Red Team engagements simulating sophisticated adversaries.
• Develop realistic attack scenarios based on risk and threat intel.
• Perform penetration testing across networks, systems, apps, and cloud environments.
• Translate offensive findings into improved defenses and detections.
• Maintain comprehensive evidence and executive summaries of engagements.
