Job summary

Centene is seeking a senior Red Team professional to lead offensive security operations in a 100% remote role. You will plan and execute advanced engagements, test controls, and identify vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will mentor junior operators, stay ahead of evolving threats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture while delivering executive-ready findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field;4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience with red team/purple team operations and security testing.
• Hands-on use/modification of penetration testing frameworks.
• Ability to deliver technical/exec-level red team reports and briefings.
• Familiarity with software exploitation and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute red team engagements to identify vulnerabilities.
• Lead offensive security operations and develop robust tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; work independently on complex projects.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and evasion techniques through research.
