Job description

ENT and Allergy Associates New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Senior Recruiter.

Summary

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing the day-to-day recruitment operations within the ENT and Allergy Associates Human Resources Department, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for all non-physician roles across clinical office locations. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, this role is instrumental in sourcing top talent, implementing effective hiring strategies, and ensuring a seamless candidate and onboarding experience. The Senior Recruiter also plays a strategic role in workforce planning, recruitment marketing, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all non-physician clinical roles.
  • Post and manage job listings across the applicant tracking system (ATS), external job boards, and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively source and build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews, and guide hiring managers through effective interview and selection techniques.
  • Coordinate reference checks, background screenings, and drug testing per policy guidelines.
  • Extend offers in alignment with approved budgets and oversee pre-employment communications.
  • Monitor and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate quality).

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding process and lead new hire orientation sessions.
  • Manage all onboarding logistics, including I-9 verification, key fob distribution, and documentation entry in the HRIS system.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a point of contact for temporary staffing agencies; review and approve related invoices.
  • Partner with the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition on projects aimed at optimizing recruitment processes and improving overall talent acquisition strategy.

HR Support & Administration

  • Oversee requests related to building and gym access, including key fob distribution and replacements.
  • Address inquiries regarding recruitment procedures, policies, and onboarding programs.
  • Provide administrative and project support to HR leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in recruiting, preferably within a healthcare or multi-site clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sourcing, networking, and candidate engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for enhancing recruitment processes and improving candidate experience.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, EEO regulations, and compliance requirements related to recruiting and onboarding.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours with occasional travel to clinical sites or recruitment events as needed.
