The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Recruiter & Talent Partner to lead U.S. hiring and support our people strategy. This is a pivotal, high-impact role that combines strategic recruiting with people partner responsibilities. You’ll be the face of Cardo AI to candidates in the U.S. market, while also playing a key role in onboarding, engagement, and performance for our growing U.S. team.

Location: Based in New York with a hybrid work model.

What You’ll Do – Talent Acquisition Focus

  • Own and drive the full-cycle recruitment process across technical, product, and commercial roles in the U.S.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand needs, define requirements, and build scalable hiring strategies.
  • Source top talent using a combination of outbound sourcing, referrals, employer brand initiatives, and events.
  • Manage our ATS and ensure a clean, data-driven pipeline and reporting process.
  • Craft a top-tier candidate experience from outreach to offer, reinforcing Cardo AI’s culture and mission.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to grow our employer brand in the U.S. — across social, content, and partnerships.
  • Track and report on recruitment KPIs to improve time-to-hire, conversion rates, and overall hiring efficiency.

What You’ll Do – Talent Partner Focus

As the Talent Partner for the U.S. team, you will:

  • Support onboarding by coordinating plans, aligning with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth start for every new joiner.
  • Monitor engagement, collect feedback via surveys, and collaborate with managers to address team needs.
  • Guide performance and development processes, including feedback, reviews, and calibration.
  • Be a trusted advisor and connector for our U.S.-based employees and managers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Experience hiring in high-growth environments, ideally in fintech, structured credit or startup ecosystems.
  • A proven track record hiring for Go to market, product, or commercial roles in competitive U.S. markets (New York, Austin, SF, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with modern ATS platforms like Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse, or similar.
  • A strategic thinker who’s also ready to roll up their sleeves and deliver.
  • Experience or strong interest in HR, onboarding, employee engagement, and people development is a plus.
