A leading construction firm in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to drive talent acquisition in the Construction and Industrial sectors. You will partner with hiring managers, maintain candidate relationships, and contribute to employer branding. Ideal candidates have over 7 years of recruitment experience and are adept at navigating fast-paced environments. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and 401k eligibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-lifecycle recruitment, preferably in the Construction industry.
• Proven success recruiting high-volume craft and technical talent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience delivering in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Lead efforts to source, screen, and assess candidates.
• Contribute to enhancing employer branding.
• Maintain accurate ATS data and craft compelling job descriptions.
• Post job openings across platforms and manage recruitment campaigns.
• Coordinate interviews and provide interview materials/evaluations.
• Support employer branding and represent Loenbro at events.
• Assist onboarding and ensure smooth new-hire integration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
• Lead efforts to source, screen, and assess candidates for qualifications and suitability.
• Primary focus on recruiting within the Electrical, Construction, and Industrial fields.
• Support hiring needs across the company.

Job Postings and Recruitment Marketing

• Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS.
• Craft compelling job descriptions tailored to industry-specific needs.
• Post job openings across relevant platforms, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific sites.
• Develop and implement recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.

Candidate Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Communicate timely feedback to candidates, keeping them engaged and informed.

Interview and Hiring Process Coordination

• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Provide interview support, including preparation of materials and candidate evaluations.

Employer Branding and Networking

• Contribute to enhancing Loenbro’s employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice.
• Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry functions.

Onboarding Support

• Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
• Facilitate new employee orientation and provide support during the integration process.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-lifecycle recruitment, preferably in the Construction industry.
• Proven success recruiting high-volume craft and technical talent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Experience successfully delivering in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Nice to Have: Bilingual (English and Spanish).
