Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center is seeking an Activities Assistant for part-time weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 9a-5p) at our Columbia, PA location. Ideal candidates are creative, outgoing, and motivated to engage residents in activities and events.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to relate professionally to residents and families, and willingness to complete background checks and a drug screen. Competitive benefits and daily pay options are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
