Job summary

Mirror seeks a Lead Recovery Support Specialist to supervise Recovery Support Specialists and schedule coverage for residential clients. You will understand Mirror’s treatment model, chart client behavior, and support clinical staff while handling related paperwork and compliance tasks.

You will oversee on-site operations, participate in training, and ensure smooth daily activities, including occasional food preparation and weekend supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in administrative, secretarial or clerical tasks.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Awareness of addictive behaviors and recovery processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required as well as ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of maintaining a team spirit and collaborate with others.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks related to documentation of client behavior and whereabouts.
• Must be able to work overtime hours if needed.
• Awareness of treatment policies and procedures.
• Must pass a background/security check.
• Minimum two consecutive years of abstinence from all intoxicating substances.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work varying schedules and shifts, including weekends.
• Assist the site Director with paperwork demands of the treatment program.
• Technical Consultation: interpret rules, regulations, policies; write memos and reports.
• Operations Review: onsite review of daily operations for compliance.
• Program Training tasks: develop and deliver technical training on policies; identify training needs.
• Supervise clients during assigned hours and monitor groups.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for office and facility needs.
• Provide educational presentations and facilitate offender recreation therapy as directed.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as directed.
• Assist clinical and administrative staff with compliance and audit processes.
• Some limited food preparation on weekends/mornings; supervise resident kitchen cleanup.
• Perform other job related functions as directed by supervisor.
