AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty by earning trust and confidence in AutoNation as a care-giver for safety and reliability.

The role offers factory training, OEM certification support, benefits, and clear paths to advanced service roles across a nationwide network. You will interact with customers, service advisors, and fellow technicians daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail; organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order to dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make appropriate recommendations for safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order and maintain tool inventory.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
