Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a seasoned Product Formulation Lead to drive the recipe lifecycle from brief to launch in our Bridgewater, MA site. You will ensure compliant formulation, effective recipe management, ingredient specification excellence, and timely delivery across markets.

Collaborating with operations, quality, regulatory, and R&D teams, you will champion SAP-RM, DevEX and CAT, translate regulatory requirements into practical standards, and lead continuous improvement in recipe data management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, nutrition, pharmacy, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience with strong product and process knowledge across recipe development and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance across multiple markets.
• Continuous improvement methods and structured problem-solving experience.
• Hands-on experience in recipe formulation, compliance, and management of nutritional or food products.
• Analytical thinking, data management, and knowledge of statistical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the product recipe lifecycle from new product brief to launch.
• Ensure compliant formulation, effective recipe management, and ingredient specification excellence.
• Create and revise recipes for innovation and renovation projects.
• Ensure adherence to Nestlé recipe and data standards and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, manufacturing, product, R&D, regulatory, and medical affairs teams across markets and factories.
• Support formulation decisions and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
• Guide validation and corrective actions.
• Contribute to category and corporate strategic initiatives related to recipe and ingredient management.
• Champion SAP-RM, CAT, DevEX, and reporting solutions to improve compliance, data quality, workflow efficiency, and end-to-end visibility.
• Support continuous improvement of standards, guidelines, and training programs.
• Ensure business continuity in formulation-related activities.
• Influence global and regional stakeholders and partner with technical experts across manufacturing, nutrition, quality, safety, regulatory affairs, and supply chain.
