Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years education/experience.
• Experience inspecting for proper identity and dimensions.
• Ability to make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards and processing requirements.
• Verify identity and dimensions using micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
• Visually inspect for defects such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
• Maintain records of inspection results and pass/fail decisions.
• Possess ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
