Job summary

McKesson’s Ontada Real World Research team seeks a Research Scientist to lead oncology studies, develop protocols including statistical sections, and define study data needs from real-world data sources. You will collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to draft client-ready deliverables, interpret analyses, and ensure compliant reporting across multiple projects.

The role requires 7+ years in RWD/HEOR, a Master's (Doctoral preferred), and strong medical writing skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in observational/RWD research or HEOR
• Master's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred
• Experience with real-world data sources (EHR, claims, mortality, SDOH)
• Medical writing and client-facing collaboration skills
• Oncology/pharmaceutical/CRO experience
• Proficiency with MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel; Teams; Copilot

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific expertise across concurrent HEOR/RWD studies
• Act as scientific contact for sponsors and cross-functional teams
• Attend client meetings to discuss methods, results, and interpretation
• Develop scientific protocols and write statistical analysis sections
• Review results and support evidence-based conclusions
• Ensure regulatory and compliance documentation as required
