Job summary

Swarm Aero is building the largest swarming UAV network and redefining air power. You will own the frontend architecture of Legion, the real-time C2 interface, enabling thousands of autonomous assets to be controlled with reliability even in degraded comms.

You will lead frontend technology choices, mentor engineers, and push for scalable, performance-sensitive interfaces, including WebGL visuals and advanced telemetry views, with a strong DevSecOps culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production frontend experience with ownership of frontend architecture.
• Production web interfaces built with React or a modern framework.
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting technical direction for a frontend team.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture for a C2 system directing swarms of heterogeneous aircraft, and scale it.
• Evolve real-time, collaborative interfaces for controlling large numbers of aircraft with degraded comms.
• Design and ship UI concepts for telemetry, sensor data, scheduling, and data link management.
• Work with operators to close the loop from mission feedback into the interface.
• Set frontend patterns and standards for the team to follow.
• Ship early with strong CI/CD, QA, and DevSecOps.
