Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Telemetry Platform team to design and evolve services that ingest and process telemetry data from millions of NVIDIA users worldwide.

You will lead the architecture for data collection, ensure durability and scale, and mentor other engineers while owning services in production and participating in on‑call incident management. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building backend services that run in production.
• Experience with modern Java (17+) and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience running large‑scale services with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka on AWS or another major cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and tune real‑time, high‑throughput services that ingest telemetry events.
• Make ingestion durable end to end with backpressure, buffering, and graceful degradation.
• Drive architecture for the data collection platform, including schema management and shared libraries.
• Lead design reviews, write clear documents, and mentor other engineers.
• Own the services you build in production, including on‑call rotation and incident management.
