Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Telemetry Platform to design and operate real-time, high-throughput telemetry services that collect data from NVIDIA products worldwide. You will own production services, drive architecture for the data collection platform, and mentor engineers while participating in on-call incident management and observability initiatives.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, and 7+ years building backend production services.
Deep expertise in Java (17+) and Spring Boot, including concurrency and performance profiling.
Strong distributed systems fundamentals and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and tune real-time, high-throughput telemetry services that ingest data worldwide.
Ensure ingestion durability with delivery guarantees, backpressure, and buffering.
Drive data-collection platform architecture, including schema management and shared libraries.
Lead design reviews, write documentation, and mentor engineers.
Own production services with on-call rotation and incident management.
