Job summary

Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. seeks an engineer to independently plan and perform design, driver development, integration, test, debugging and validation of real-time embedded software for wireless chipsets, including features enabled by 3G, 4G, 5G and AI.

You will identify and implement tools to improve the software development process, create engineering documentation, prepare specifications, and contribute to design reviews and project planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
• Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform the design, driver development, integration, test, debugging and validation of real-time embedded software.
• Develops and debugs platforms in embedded RTOS environments and firmware for wireless chipsets.
• Identifies and implements tools and processes to continually improve the software development process.
• Provides support on customer issues and requirements to Software Application Engineers.

Education

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field with five (5) years of progressive experience
