Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Development Engineer in Austin, TX.

You will independently design, develop, integrate, test and debug real-time embedded software for wireless chipsets, including RTOS environments and firmware for 3G/4G/5G platforms. You will contribute to IP and technical specifications, and support project planning and customer requirements through engineering collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; or Bachelor’s with 5+ years in a related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test real-time embedded software for wireless chipsets.
• Debug and validate embedded platforms including RTOS and firmware.
• Provide engineering input to project planning, reviews, and customer issue resolution.
• Create engineering documentation and technical specifications.
