Job summary

SPX Technologies, through its Detection and Measurement unit, seeks a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer to advance RF signal processing, real-time embedded server software, and cross‑platform development for Linux/Windows.

You will work on architectural improvements, feature implementation, and customer support, while leveraging DSP, SDR, and RF knowledge in a dynamic, global team based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spectrum Signal Processing algorithms, FFT, CCDF, ZIF, DDC.
• 4+ years of extensive C/C++ software development with templates, Lambda, vectors, maps.
• Understanding of ADCs and RF receiver architectures and quality metrics.
• Extensive real-time multithreaded/multicore embedded server software design and testing.
• Cross-platform programming for Linux and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and understand SPX's embedded server architectures and contribute to improvements and new features.
• Modify or develop software, support testing and analysis of hardware and software performance.
• Provide technical support to customers by deploying products and analyzing field issues.
• Collaborate with teams and contribute to product documentation.
