Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with 2+ years in streaming or distributed systems.
• Experience designing, building, and running production real-time systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-throughput, low-latency streaming apps using Java and Kafka.
• Design event-driven microservices to process real-time data at scale.
• Implement reactive, non-blocking architectures for high concurrency.
• Architect distributed streaming systems with Kafka topics and schema management.
• Deploy and manage containerized services in Kubernetes across clouds.
• Define autoscaling, deployment, and failover strategies for production systems.
