Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have State Certified General license and a four-year college degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience performing or reviewing commercial appraisals.
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated with time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Comprehensive understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate appraisals for commercial real estate collateral nationwide in accordance with JPMorgan Chase policies, USPAP standards, and federal regulations.
• Manage the full appraisal procurement and review process, including scope development, vendor engagement, and report review for compliance and credibility.
• Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal partners to support timely progress and uphold appraisal independence and integrity.
• Exercise sound judgment, proactive communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
