Advocates Legal Recruiting represents a leading AmLaw 100 client in Houston, seeking mid-level and senior real estate associates for national transactions across markets such as HOU, LA, NY, and SF. You will manage complex deals and contribute to growth on a national platform.

The role covers the full lifecycle of sophisticated real estate transactions, with strong drafting skills and cross-office collaboration with finance, tax, and fund teams.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of real estate or adjacent transactional experience from a national or respected boutique platform.
• Deal sheet showing mortgage or mezzanine finance, JV equity, acquisitions or dispositions, and development work.
• Strong drafting and deal execution skills; comfort running workstreams and negotiating primary documents.
• Candidates from non-real-estate transactional backgrounds with clear transferable skills will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Work the full life cycle of sophisticated real estate transactions across asset classes.
• Handle mortgage/ mezzanine debt, JV equity, acquisitions/dispositions, and development work.
• Collaborate with lender, borrower, finance, tax, and fund teams.
