Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or relevant field.
• An advanced degree or certification (CFA) is an asset.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong research, analytical, financial modeling, valuation, problem solving skills.
• Experience in deal environments (diligence, structuring, acquisitions or asset management).
• Experience managing negotiations with multiple stakeholders and executing varied agreements.
• Advanced computer skills – MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Participate in meetings with management teams, industry experts and analysts.
• Build relationships with colleagues and investment partners.
• Perform due diligence on opportunities and assess financial performance and risks.
• Lead development of sophisticated financial models to analyze opportunities.
• Prepare investment reviews and recommendations for committees and boards.
• Assist in presenting recommendations to Investment Committee and Board.
• Develop and monitor existing portfolios.
