Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks a senior associate for its Real Estate Funds Practice Group. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience structuring, forming, and managing real estate fund products, including co-investment vehicles, and will advise sponsors and investors on legal, regulatory, and transactional matters.

You will represent sponsors and investors in transactions, lead fundraising efforts, draft and negotiate fund documents, oversee due diligence, monitor

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real estate funds at a global law firm.
• Experience with open-end and closed-end fund structures.
• Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in using AI technologies for legal research.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior associates.

Responsibilities

• Represent real estate fund sponsors and investors in transactions and negotiations.
• Advise on the formation, structuring, and management of real estate funds.
• Lead fundraising processes for real estate funds.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund offering documents and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analyze regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and service providers to facilitate fund closings.
• Prepare and review disclosure documents and investor communications.
• Support due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions.
• Identify and resolve legal issues related to fund operations.
• Monitor changes in laws affecting real estate funds.
• Use AI technologies responsibly for legal research and document review.
• Collaborate with colleagues in related practice areas and supervise junior team members.
