Job summary

EisnerAmper in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Portfolio Accountant to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG). You will contribute to client relationships, prepare financial statements, and manage capital activity and NAV calculations with a focus on accuracy and regulatory alignment.

You will also support audits, train junior staff, and collaborate with teams to deliver innovative real estate fund solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or assurance for Financial Services clients.
• CPA or parts completed preferred; experience with real estate funds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward a team covering one or more client relationships.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Investments, Operations, Cash Flows, Notes).
• Prepare general ledger and work papers for accuracy, including capital and investment activity.
• Prepare Partner Capital reports including Partner P&L.
• Calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations.
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices.
• Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts.
• Calculate quarter-end NAVs and support year-end audit processes.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
