Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support underwriting and valuation for large-scale multifamily and mixed-use investment sales across the Tri-State region. You will deliver underwriting, market data, and high-quality financing materials to institutional clients.

You'll lead financial modeling, analyze market dynamics, and collaborate with brokers and clients to advance transactions, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining accurate databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, or advisory services.
• Proficient in Excel and Argus; modeling expertise required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state real estate license.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics and trends preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and valuation for $50M+ investment sales transactions.
• Prepare discounted cash flow analyses, pro forma statements, and rent roll evaluations to determine valuation.
• Assist in the preparation of offering memorandums, pitch decks, and reports for investment sales transactions.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive positioning, location dynamics, and supply/demand dynamics.
• Interface directly with prospective investors and clients during diligence and site inspections.
• Maintain internal databases tracking investment sales activity and relevant real estate metrics.
• Mentor junior analysts to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Support the collection and evaluation of due diligence materials and coordinate with clients to ensure completeness.
• Preserves client-facing continuity by leading property tours, presenting financial insights to investors, and supporting brokers in real-time conversations - activities that materially shape client confidence and deal conversion.
