A leading cloud services provider is seeking a seasoned professional to join the AWS Real Estate Team in Arlington, VA. The role involves extensive negotiation and management of real estate deals for data center expansion. Candidates should have significant experience in land acquisition and site selection, along with a degree in relevant fields. This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $155,400 to $210,200 annually, plus comprehensive benefits and a focus on career growth within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale site selection, real estate land acquisitions and lease negotiations.
• 5+ years experience performing the full range of land entitlement functions leveraging a combination of internal and external resources.
• 5+ years experience in site due diligence, site development, and negotiation of entitlement agreements for large complex projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal engagement, negotiation and closing of real estate sites.
• Cultivate developer relationships.
• Assist in developing site plans consistent with market conditions.
• Partner with local jurisdictions for project discussions.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Build and lead teams of consultants to evaluate site feasibility.
• Some travel required.
