Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a counsel-level attorney to join its Real Estate practice in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing.

Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, at least eight years of relevant real estate experience, and an active Ohio license, with strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills. Permanent US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate agreements, including purchase/sale, leases, and development agreements.
• Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing matters.
• Advise on real estate issues in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
• Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, and environmental reviews.
• Support development projects across asset classes.
• Negotiate construction and project-related agreements to manage real estate risk.
• Structure and document various real estate financing arrangements.
