Job summary
PDS Health in Irving, TX, seeks a Corporate Counsel, Real Estate to support real estate operations under the Sr. Director, Real Estate.
You will work with Site Development, operations and other business functions to provide legal and administrative support for leases, transactions, and related agreements. The role requires a J.D., 5+ years in a large corporate setting, and experience with commercial leases.
Qualifications
- J.D. with bar admission and strong academic record.
- 5+ years in a large corporate setting (in-house preferred).
- Significant experience with commercial leases and contract administration.
- Experience drafting and reviewing commercial leases and corporate instruments.
- Experience in a commercial/retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and manage commercial leases, SNDAs, and related agreements.
- Coordinate real estate transactions with Site Development and operations.
- Prepare legal documents for Real Estate review and approval.
- Maintain deadlines and generate status reports.
- Interact with management, internal clients and outside counsel.
- Identify and manage external law firm relationships.
- Provide guidance to limit legal risks and oversee litigation strategies.
- Advise on legal implications of proposed actions and policies.
