Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Senior Counsel to join the Property Management Legal Team in the United States. You will provide expert guidance on commercial real estate matters, draft and negotiate leases and related agreements, review due diligence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect the brand and drive business objectives.

You will lead real estate disputes, coordinate with counsel, and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals while contributing to strategic initiatives and risk

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Team collaboration within a legal department.

Responsibilities

Provide advice and counsel on complex commercial real estate issues.
Draft, negotiate and analyze leases, easement agreements, licenses, and related documents.
Review title and survey and due diligence for real estate portfolio.
Partner with Portfolio Management to align on practical solutions and mitigate risk.
Manage real estate disputes and coordinate with in-house or outside counsel.
Mentor and oversee junior attorneys and paralegals.
