Job summary

The firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Commercial Real Estate Practice Group in a hybrid role. The position handles complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, working with a collaborative team on high‑profile matters.

Required: JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record and active bar admission in DE, FL, MD, NJ, NY, TX, or DC; 5+ years of substantive CRE experience; experience with purchase

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience.
• Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions.
• Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior law firm experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews, including analysis of title, survey, zoning, and other real estate-related matters.
• Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post-closing matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
• Manage client communications and support the efficient execution of complex transactions.
