Job summary

Hackman Capital Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support day-to-day corporate accounting, AR/AP, and reporting for multiple entities. You will review journal entries, assist with month-end close, payroll taxes, and guarantor reporting, while leveraging MRI and advanced Excel to improve processes in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of senior management experience.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI Accounting software required.
• High level of Excel knowledge (pivot table and v-lookup).
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently.
• Deadline oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations for assigned entities.
• Responsible for Corporate accounts receivable function.
• Review month-end accruals and other manual journal entries.
• Review revenue reconciliation and financial statements for all assigned entities.
• Prepare quarterly payroll taxes and guarantor reporting.
• Prepare annual tax forms such as 571-L, Sales/Use Tax, Culver City business tax.
• Prepare quarterly distributions for assigned entities.
