Job summary

Legacy Commercial Property, based in Brentwood, TN, seeks a Senior Real Estate Accountant – Generalist to support period-end close, development accounting, and financial reporting. You will handle property tax estimates, lease administration, and CAM reconciliations while collaborating with the Controller and a team of Senior Accountants.

The role covers both the finance/GL and operations sides, with opportunities for growth within Highland Ventures. On-site work in Brentwood, TN is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with MRI and Sage accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own period-end close and financial statement reporting with variance analysis.
• Manage construction draws, budget vs. actual and project costing.
• Lead lease administration, tenant billing, and CAM reconciliations.
• Prepare property tax estimates and coordinate tax appeals.
• Document accounting policies and assist with acquisitions and lender reporting.
