Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee ready-mix operations, maintain equipment, and ensure timely product delivery. You will lead plant staff, enforce safety practices, and report to the Plant Manager while coordinating daily production and scheduling.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in ready-mix, and a valid license (CDL preferred). Knowledge of DOT/OSHA/EPA rules and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with ready-mix concrete.
• 1+ year maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to direct, teach, motivate, and coach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plant personnel daily.
• Maintain equipment and monitor batching accuracy.
• Oversee safety meetings and ensure PPE usage.
• Coordinate production and delivery with Plant Manager.
• Audit payroll hours and time entry.
• Monitor truck loading and on-time deliveries.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA requirements.
