Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience developing web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and JSON.
• 2+ years of experience developing microservices using Python and/or Node.js.
• Strong technical skills in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks, particularly React.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Experience with REST-based or GraphQL APIs from SPAs.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization for APIs.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with package managers (npm, pip).
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in APIs.
• Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality.
• Learn, adapt, test, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests.
• Coordinate with release engineers to deploy features and fixes.
• Provide technical documentation for APIs.
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Communicate effectively with peers and leads.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve design, code quality, tests, and delivery efficiency.
