Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is partnering with an innovative SaaS company to hire a Front End Engineer (React & TypeScript). This role focuses on building data-driven web apps, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-quality features.

You will own features end-to-end, work on both mature and greenfield projects, and leverage AI-assisted development tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Front End Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals.
• Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, or similar).
• Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).
• Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience writing automated tests (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Interest in leveraging AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React and TypeScript applications.
• Own features end-to-end from discovery through deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure reliable data flow.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to prototype and enhance user experiences.
• Help improve shared component libraries and design systems.
• Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
