Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Front-End Focused) with 5+ years of experience to lead UI design and development for upstream oil & gas operations. You will blend React front-end expertise with Python backend skills and ESRI geospatial integration to build spatially aware web apps.

You will collaborate with upstream engineers and geoscientists, drive architecture, ensure performance for large spatial datasets, and champion CI/CD, testing, and code quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with frontend focus.
• Upstream oil & gas sector experience.
• Deep expertise in React.js, ES6+, TypeScript, Redux/Zustand, responsive CSS.
• Geospatial integration using ESRI platforms and web APIs (ArcGIS JS API, ArcGIS REST API).
• Backend proficiency in Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) for API development.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Leadership & Architecture: design/build complex React apps.
• Geospatial Integration: build spatial data visualizers and map interfaces with ESRI tech.
• Full-Stack Development: write Python REST APIs and back-end services.
• Domain Problem Solving: work with upstream engineers to translate requirements.
• Performance & Scalability: optimize apps for large spatial datasets and real-time feeds.
• Quality & Best Practices: CI/CD, testing, code reviews, deployment.
