Job summary

Sleeper, a rapidly expanding fantasy sports platform in the United States, is hiring a senior mobile developer to own and refine our React Native app. You’ll work on season-long leagues, live scoring, and the social layer, ensuring scalability and reliability for millions of users.

You'll collaborate with designers, write clean TypeScript code, optimize performance, and integrate with REST or GraphQL backends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong knowledge of React Native best practices and patterns.
• Ability to design and implement scalable mobile features.
• Experience working with RESTful or GraphQL backends and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to translate user requirements into technical specs for the fantasy sports product.
• Write clean, maintainable code using React Native, TypeScript, and related libraries.
• Troubleshoot and debug performance, socket, data caching, and related issues.
• Develop reusable UI components and a well-structured component hierarchy.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services via APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Stay up-to-date on React Native and mobile development best practices.
