Job summary

Kraken is expanding its consumer mobile team to Asia, building a new app for Asian markets with React Native. You will own end-to-end features, partner with Product and Design, and make architectural decisions for reliable, data-driven experiences.

We value a product-minded engineer who ships consumer mobile apps, collaborates across teams, and leverages APIs and real-time data while navigating regional constraints. English communication and strong UX awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong React Native experience with production apps.
• Product-minded with ability to turn problems into measurable outcomes.
• End-to-end ownership across feature life cycle.
• Experience consuming APIs and handling real-time data in mobile apps.
• Ability to collaborate with Product and Design and communicate in English.
• Experience launching apps in Asian markets and navigating regional constraints.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own high-quality React Native features end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on discovery and user journeys.
• Work with APIs and real-time data to ensure performance.
• Conduct architectural decisions and code reviews.
• Contribute to Kraken’s app launch strategy in Asia.
