Job summary

Kraken is seeking a React Native engineer to join a cross-functional Consumer pod focused on building and scaling core Krak experiences. You’ll design, build, and maintain mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript, owning features from design to release while ensuring performance and reliability for a global user base.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Rust backend engineers, contribute to code quality, and stay up-to-date with React Native tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building web or mobile applications.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and hands-on React Native experience.
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs with focus on mobile security and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
• Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned Krak features, from design through release and post-launch iteration
• Build screens and components that are maintainable, performant, and aligned with architecture patterns
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to technical design discussions and trade-offs for owned work
• Collaborate with Product, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver customer value
• Help improve code quality and tooling across the Krak mobile codebase
