Job summary

Kraken is seeking a React Native engineer to join a cross-functional Consumer pod focusing on building and scaling core Krak experiences. You’ll work with Product, Frontend and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless, high-quality mobile experiences for a global user base.

You will own end-to-end delivery of Krak features, build reusable components, write clean tests, and contribute to architectural discussions to improve performance and reliability. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience focused on web or mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
• Experience consuming APIs with emphasis on security and performance on mobile.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and modern build pipelines.
• Solid UI/UX sense and customer-focused mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Krak features from design to release and iteration.
• Build maintainable, performant screens and components following architecture patterns.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews with engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and trade-offs in your pod.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Rust backend engineers to deliver customer value.
