Job summary

Ravh-IT in Washington DC is seeking a Senior React Frontend Developer to design, develop and maintain responsive web applications. You will build reusable components, integrate with RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accessible, high-performance interfaces.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of frontend experience, strong Redux knowledge, and a solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of frontend development experience.
Experience with Redux for state management.
Strong understanding of Section 508, WCAG, and accessibility compliance requirements.
Experience with Git, Git workflows, and source code management.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components and frontend libraries.
Ensure accessibility compliance across all user interfaces (Section 508, WCAG).
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Manage application state using Redux and handle asynchronous data flows.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement accessible user experiences.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
Optimize performance with code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization.
