Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Senior React Developer in Pittsburgh to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and modern frontend tech. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features, write tests, and mentor teammates.

The role emphasizes frontend architecture, coding standards, and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of React concepts, hooks, state management and performance optimization.
• Experience with modern frontend tools such as Next.js, Vite, Webpack or similar.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and accessibility.
• Experience with Redux, Zustand, Context API or equivalent.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and asynchronous data handling.
• Experience writing automated tests with Jest, RTL, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Genuine Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
