Eolas is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own frontend architecture in a remote role. You will work across the stack, shaping API design and backend integration while upholding high standards for performance and reliability.

As an individual contributor, you will drive technical direction, review peers' work, and ensure the product meets the needs of enterprise customers relying on its daily operations. This is a senior, impact-driven role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with React.js and TypeScript as core stack.
• Full-stack range with API and backend integration
• Experience at enterprise SaaS companies with production-grade products
• Systems thinker capable of assessing trade-offs across the stack
• Self-starter who defines problems, forms a point of view, and drives to completion
• Experience setting technical direction as an IC, not a manager
• AI fluency shaping how you build, not a new skill to learn for this role

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture for React/TypeScript web applications end-to-end.
• Design and integrate APIs and backend services when needed.
• Set the bar for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
• Transform rough, underspecified problems into scoped, well-reasoned technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product and design as a peer, not an order-taker.
• Raise the level of engineers through code reviews and technical judgment.
